Capacity and Location

We are committed to supplying plants of consistent appearance and quality in large volumes

Sharing more than two decades of knowledge with our customers to ensure the success of their projects.

Nursery Capacity:

We run two nurseries, one at Kaiwaka to service the upper North Island and one in Palmerston North to service the lower North Island and the South Island.

Together these nurseries total an area of 30 hectares, enabling us to produce and deliver a number of very large projects at the same time.

The nurseries are highly automated with soil mixers, tray fillers, potting machinery, transplanters, an automated irrigation and fertigation system and pH adjustment system.

Location/ Nursery Growing Conditions:

Eventual environments for our plants can be exceedingly harsh, with conditions that could include severe frosts, salt laden coastal winds, poor clay soils, roadside and carpark run off, and high pedestrian traffic.

Both of our nurseries are exposed to almost constant winds, subjecting our plants to a tough environment before they are shipped to market.

This is an ideal growing environment for nursery plants and a key factor in assisting with adaptation to their new environments after transplanting, and to their long-term hardiness and health.
