Kauri Park Nurseries has just released a new edition of their popular Landscaping Handbook.
The handbook has been printed as A5 making it easy for Landscapers and Landscape Architects to keep a copy on their desk, in their vehicle or in their back pocket.
The new edition contains icons showing useful plant information under thumbnail photos of each species. These plant descriptions give details on species’ optimum growing conditions and the best landscaping applications for them. Every species description also gives the Māori name, if known.
All of this information is laid out in a plant description table which also includes information on optimum planting densities, plant height and plant diameter for every species.
Our production capacity has now increased to 10 million plants. We’re putting a lot more resources into Customer Service and Research and Development, particularly into our new high performance Manuka selections for the Manuka honey industry.
As ever, we put great emphasis on our eco sourcing practices in the handbook. Kauri Park Nurseries has nearly 30 Manuka selections, sourced from all over New Zealand, from Cape Reinga to the Bluff and everywhere in between. The only way to identify all of the eco sources is by a barcode labelling system.
We have given some detailed planting tips including information on planting and protecting wetland species and on post-planting weed control.
The handbook was deliberately produced cost effectively to enable us to distribute copies liberally and freely.
Please give us a call on 0800 125 287 or send an email to let us know if you would like a hard copy of the handbook, or several copies.
