Asplenium bulbiferum (hen and chickens fern)
Product Description
Asplenium bulbiferum is widespread throughout New Zealand, growing in lowland forests. The fronds are erect to a height of approx. 1.2m. The fronds produce small daughter plantlets on the leaves, which separate from the mother plant to become new ferns. Hence the ‘chickens’ of the ‘hen’ plant.
