The Glaisdale stormwater pond was a key project that Kauri Park worked on in 2016. The pond was constructed as part of the Glaisdale subdivision to retain stormwater during rainfall, to prevent flooding and enhance the area’s aesthetic appeal. Kauri Park supplied and planted over 20,000 grasses and wetland plants into this project, a mixture of 1L and 0.5L grades – all grown in the unique Kauri Park eco-tray system. The growth of the plants on this project was astounding, the wetland was fully functional and signed off by the Hamilton council within 8 months post planting. This wetland is the best the Hamilton council have seen in the Waikato to date, Kauri Park are proud to have supplied and planted this project.
