The planting of the Hobsonville Pond was done during April/May 2013. At this time Kauri Park was one of the only nursery’s growing plants in trays – other nurseries were still growing in the PB bags or pot and tray. The unique features of Kauri Park’s eco-tray help the root growth of the plant once planted out into the landscape, this was definitely a contributing factor to the quick establishment of the planting at Hobsonville Pond.
The planting at Hobsonville pond is another success, of which Kauri Park are pleased to have been part of. The photos profiled were taken 4 years after implementation, the natives have established extremely well.
