Recovery and renewal of Rotoroa Island

Posted on January 28, 2016

Rotoroa Island continues to make headlines as it is transformed into a world-leading example of conservation management.

The commitment of the Rotoroa Island Trust and its partners in making the island a sanctuary where people can experience New Zealand’s wildlife is truly commendable.

The Island delivers a new take on conservation education offering hands-on field trips to children and inspiring a new generation of conservationists.
