Our decades of hands-in-the-dirt experience has taught us that we need to start with the best time for the plants and work back from there.
Timing is everything. Every year we nurture, craft and grow 20 million seeds and 250+ species of plants. From sourcing seeds, to germinating, sowing to growing – we need to work in harmony with Mother Nature’s rhythms and cycles.
We don’t start growing when an order comes in, we plan many seasons ahead. We start when nature’s ready – when the seeds are ready – and this changes every year, in every region. So, if you’re not in tune with that rhythm, of when the seeds are singing out to be harvested, you’ll already be too late and the opportunity to harvest will not appear again for another 12 months.
